Well, yea. Wire hangers are a good cheap almost instant way of making a sample loom. However, for more than that, something elegant in wood is called for.

Can you come up with something spiffy by Birka?

...I don't even know if there are any wire coat hangers in our house. We systematically replaced them with wood a few years ago. But maybe I got one from the dry cleaners a while back. Hmmmmmmm....

Good thought, unfortunately all my picture frames are pretty small (5 x 7-ish). I might have an embroidery frame, though.... Hmmmmm....
